Our History

We’ve come a long way since the first customer walked across our floors.

1986: Castle Carpet began as a small flooring store in Corner Brook, NL. We supplied and installed carpet, vinyl, and a small amount of hardwood flooring in Corner Brook and surrounding area.

1991: Castle Carpet moved into its current location 406 Connell Dr.

2000: Barry and Cynthia Brake became the owners and broadened Castle’s focus to include hard surface flooring materials such as ceramic and porcelain tile, solid and engineered hardwood, laminates, and luxury vinyl tile and plank.

2008: The family business welcomed Stacey Brake to the team. His skill and expertise has enabled Castle to actively pursue large commercial flooring projects as well as custom tiled showers, concrete countertops and complete retail store fit ups.

Today: Now known as Castle Flooring Solutions, our showroom offers hundreds of samples, in-store displays, and a large inventory of readily available flooring products.
